Genealogy of Family Members appearing in SFoA Volume I

Objectives of SFoA

The objective of the Stowers family organization shall be to strengthen the ties of fellowship and kinship between living members of the family and to maintain family unity through frequent association of family members in a social way. To perpetuate the memory and genealogy of the ancestors and descendents of the Stowers Families by combining the resources and efforts of the members of the family in performing genealogical research, and by unifying all genealogical, historical, and biographical research necessary for the compilation of complete and accurate family records.

All descendents of any Stowers, and their husbands or wives, are eligible for membership in the Stowers Families of America. Persons who are not descendents of Stowers, but who are interested in the genealogy of our ancestors or descendents, are also welcome as members of the family organization. Any person who wishes to become a member of the family organization may do so by contacting any Officer, or by submitting his/her name to another current member. There are no annual dues. Membership shall be by inheritance or by request.

Although membership is free, contributions are encouraged to assist in genealogical research and publication of material. All contributions (not tax deductible) should be mailed directly to the SFoA Treasurer.

We are a NonProfit organization and depend solely on contributions to perform our genealogical research and publish information in our SFoA Books (Vol 1-6) and on the World Wide Web. Please make a contribution (not tax deductible) to obtain one of our Books, Pamphlets, Family History or Pedigree Charts or just make a contribution to assist in further research and to maintain our Web Site. Please contact one of our SFoA Officers or State Vice Presidents if we can assist you in any way.
